Milonga Mariposita
The final Milonga Mariposita of 2023 will take place Saturday, November 18th at Danznik Studios 240 w 37th, 2nd floor!
oin Tomas Corbalan and Dagny Miller 8-9:30pm for a special workshop on mindfulness and tango. Participants will learn to be fully present in the moment while dancing, fostering self awareness and a deeper connection with your dance partner. We will all participate in a light community meal and practica 9:30-10pm! Please inform me of any allergies, the meal will be vegetarian.
$25 for the workshop/ practica, $45 for both the workshop/ practica & milonga

For full time students with valid ID: $35 for the workshop and class or $15 for the milonga
I don't want anyone who wants to join be left out due to financial reasons. Please let me know if you would like to help out for an hour in exchange for entry!

Milonga Mariposia will be on pause after November until further notice! I will be shifting my energy into preparing for another year of the Abrazos Tango Festival I am hosting with Mariela Franganillo April 26-28th, 2024!

From the chaos of the pandemic emerged our Friday oasis. Located in the historic back ballroom of the Ukrainian East Village Restaurant, one peek into the doorway overlooking the dance floor will transport you back to the Golden Age of Argentine Tango.
For more than 100 years, this space has been enjoyed by New Yorkers. We welcome you to join us every Friday for non stop dancing 8:30pm-12:30am.
